Detecting your location...
How to Use This Tool:
1. Location: Let the tool detect your location automatically or enter your city and country manually (e.g., "Lucknow, India") and click "Update Location" for accurate timings based on your position.
2. Sect: Choose "Sunni" or "Shia" to adjust timings slightly based on your religious practice (e.g., Shia may delay Maghrib and Isha by about 10 minutes). The best method will auto-select based on your location.
3. Method: Select a calculation method to determine Fajr and Isha times based on twilight angles (e.g., ISNA uses 15° for North America, UISK uses 18° common in South Asia). Details are in the dropdown.
4. Asr Juristic Method: Pick "Shafi’i" (earlier Asr, 1x shadow length) or "Hanafi" (later Asr, 2x shadow length) to match your local tradition.
5. Local Offsets: Add or subtract minutes (e.g., +5 or -5) to Fajr or Maghrib to match your local masjid’s schedule if it differs from the calculated times.
6. Specific Date: Select a date and click "Get Date Timings" to see prayer times for that day instead of today.
7. Monthly Table: Choose a month and click "Get Monthly Timings" for a full schedule.
8. Qibla Direction: Switch to the Qibla tab to find the direction to face during prayer, shown in degrees and on a compass.
Tip: Compare with your local masjid or trusted local sources for the most precise results.
